Live from the Fillmore

Hi guys.  In case you didn't make it, we had a great set at the Fillmore in Silver Spring last weekend opening for our friends The Static.  Shows have been few and far between lately, but that's only because we have been so busy recording our first full album, which we have built by ourselves (and a little help from good bud Justin Day at New Noise).  We are really pleased with how it sounds so far, and we are so excited to share it with all of you.  Should be out in early 2013.  So until then, WAIT FOR IT.

Recording and stuffs

Hello there. Haven't updated this blog in a while, lots to talk about!!

The New Record! Ben and Trevor both finished up tracking drums and bass last month. The "rhythm section" really threw down some bumpin' tracks. I dare you to not tap your feet when you hear it! As I write this, Greg and Adam are dialing in some jangly sweet guitar tones, about to start guitar tracking. We're moving along quite nicely!

Shows! We've got em! DC, Philly, MD, and Bmore, plus more in the works. Been helping out lots of new friends on the road, check them out ---- Via Lotus from Ohio, The Great Socio from Philly, and Sound and Shape from Nashville are just a few. Great stuff, can't wait to party with them!

Strange Hairy Things

We've been hibernating in our writing cave most of autumn, with big resultz. Lotsa new tunes for yer ears, and luckily, we've lotsa shows coming up for Wintertime. So check out the schedule at the top of this page and help us support the Occupy Venue Movement. See you sooner!!!

What up Autumn!

It's our favorite time of the year. Pumpkin beers, bonfires, football, the crispness in the air... and LOTS and LOTS of writing! We've got tons of new jams in the works, so we are taking a few months off to perfect and record them. Shows will be on hold for a while, but we've got something awesome in the works for December.
Also, we will have an online store up shortly so all of our non-local friends can get our goodies. In the meantime, keep spreading the word about WAIT FOR IT, you can still download it for FREE!

Awesome Times

This Saturday, we rock Beltsville at ECLECTICA Festival with tons of awesome bands. It's gonna be pretty sweet. BYOB, camping, and lots of free hugs. We will have our new Split 7' for sale there, as well, in case you missed the big release show.

So, we got the 7" test press in the mail last week, and we are blown away by how awesome it turned out! We can't wait for everyone to hear it. We will be posting "Wait For It" online in the next week or two, so keep your eyes peeled for that....

New Release!

So we are officially releasing a split 7" with our good friends Vinny Vegas! We go into the studio with our boy Justin Day in Glen Burnie this weekend to record "Wait For It", and we couldn't be more excited. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!!! Since we can only fit one song on this thing, we will ALSO be releasing "Celebrate", digitally, free, as a bonus track, just for fun. Keep your peepers peeled for an epic release party in early September.

Welcome to the New Media blog/website!  Thanks for checking it out.
